上海临港经济发展（集团）有限公司成立于2003年9月，注册资本68.72亿元，是上海市市管企业中唯一以园区开发经营和园区配套服务设施建设运营为主业的企业集团，承担了上海临港产业区、漕河泾开发区等十多个本地和外地园区开发建设任务以及十多个城市更新转型项目。临港集团始终定位于产业发展推动者和城市更新建设者的角色，推动园区产业转型升级和城市物业更新改造。

Shanghai Lingang Economic Development (Group) Co., Ltd., established in September 2003 with a registered capital of 6.872 billion yuan, is a large state-owned and diversified investing company. Among the companies under State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) of Shanghai, the Lingang Group is the only one engaged in investment, development, operation and service related to industrial parks and areas.the Lingang Group has been carrying out over ten urban renovation projects as well as industrial parks development in and out of Shanghai, including Shanghai Lingang Industrial Area and Caohejing Hi-Tech Park. As an industry propeller and city changemaker, the Lingang Group always bears the duty to accelerate industry upgrading and to promote the renovation and transformation of urban properties.

2014年，临港集团下属开发园区的企业营业总收入5,371亿元，工业总产值达到1,505亿元，各园区招商引资项目总投资达到549亿元，总资产达587亿元。连续多年入选上海市百强企业，2015年位列100强第72位，服务业企业50强第40位。

In 2014, the total revenue of the companies in the industrial parks developed by the Lingang Group reached 537.1 billion yuan, the industrial output value hit 150.5 billion yuan, with a total investment of up to 54.9 billion yuan, and the total assets of the Group were 58.7 billion yuan. The Lingang Group has been selected the Top100 in Shanghai for many consecutive years and ranks 72th in 2015. The Group also ranks 40th among Top50 service enterprises.

在中共上海市十届八次全会通过的《关于加快建设具有全球影响力的科技创新中心的意见》中，临港集团负责开发的临港、漕河泾两品牌园区已被确定为全市建设科创中心的重要承载区（全市六个）。在此基础上，临港集团还抓紧推进中国上海自贸试验区（洋山保税港区陆域）、上海临港科创城、上海临港松江科技城、上海临港桃浦科技城、漕河泾康桥科技园区、南桥科技园区和浦江科技园区、枫泾科创小镇等园区开发建设；并在中心城区启动十多个旨在服务创新创业的临港新业坊众创空间项目。

In the opinion on accelerating construction of science and technology innovation center with global influence passed by the Eighth Plenary Session of the Tenth Municipal Party Committee of Shanghai, Lingang Industrial Area and Caohejing Hi-tech Park developed by the Lingang Group have been designated as the key places (among six areas in the city ) for the city to build up science and technology innovation center. Based on this, the Lingang Group is also promoting the development of various areas such as China Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone （Yangshan Bonded Port landward area）,Shanghai Lingang Tech & Innovation City, Shanghai Lingang Songjiang Hi-Tech City, Shanghai Lingang Taopu Tech Town, Caohejing Kangqiao Hi-tech Park, Nanqiao Hi-tech Park, Pujiang Hi-tech Park and Fengjing Tech & Innovation Town; initiating over ten group innovation spaces projects -- Innovation Galaxy Lingang Xinyefang to offer service to start-ups and a boost to innovation.

While optimizing spatial layout of the parks, the Lingang Group is also improving and upgrading its service function, gaining special advantages in the fields of human resources service, innovation and start-ups service, production and living service, financing and investment service. The Lingang Group is the controlling shareholder of the financial companies such as Shanghai Lingang Parks Development Investment Fund（LP）, Shanghai Lingang Holdings Co., Ltd (600848.SH), Shanghai Caohejing Songjiang Petty Loan Company.
